Tom Wiedemeier is the owner of Wiedemeier Wood Dryers, LLC and the inventor of the HT Sanitizer Continuous Heat Treat System. Tom also owns Thomas Wiedemeier Sawmill LTD in Porterfield, Wisconsin, a 4th generation family-owned business. One of Wiedemeier Sawmill’s key products was bundled firewood, which was shipped to many large gas station chains, convenience and grocery stores in Illinois and Wisconsin. In 2008, the spread of the emerald ash borer and regulations for heat treating firewood drove the idea to invent a firewood heat treating machine with a flow through system. By 2011, Tom had made the first version of a pallet heat treat system for a local pallet manufacturer, who was able to become ISPM-15 compliant. Since then, Wiedemeier Wood Dryers has become a leading force in heat treating and drying to prevent mold by creating significant advances in the way to heat treat pallets and become ISPM-15 compliant.
